The Micropigmentation tool is suitable for controlled depth of application so that a semi-permanent result (at least 2 to 3 years) can be achieved. The method is administered only by trained qualified DHI Medical Doctor and not by assistants.
WHAT IS CAPILLARY MICROPIGMENTATION?
The Direct MPG is a new innovative technique now in DHI Panama; it is used to diminish the appearance of large hair loss areas, which have been affected by alopecia, genetic factors or specific health complaints.
Micropigmentation in Panama, which is a semi-permanent pigmentation, is applied locally into the skin of the scalp in the form of small dots in the desired hair loss area. The pigment color is specifically chosen to match existing hairs in the scalp. This pigment ink is perfectly safe, non-toxic and non-irritating to the human skin.
How does capillar Micropigmentation work?
Direct MPG is applied in small dots mimicking the short hairs on a closely shaved scalp. The purpose of this method is to present the illusion of high hair density when applied on a thinning hair scalp area, whether if it is already treated with hair implantation or not. The small dots are pigmented in between the existing hairs, or transplanted hairs to help create the illusion of high hair density thus leading to a more satisfying appearance. This method can create very desirable results for men who like to maintain a closely shaved head of hair with an appearance of stubble.
This procedure can be used to camouflage scars from past FUT hair transplant strip procedures. It is also used to give the appearance of a denser hair area, especially for the first stages of hair loss.
The Direct MPG Method can be applied in the following hair loss conditions
In Cases of Androgenetic Alopecia
Non-Operable Cases of Scalp Alopecia or Disorders (where hair transplantation is not recommended)
